Adult rehabilitation: communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan
Adults of all ages can experience challenges with communication and swallowing. Typical challenges associated with speech and language include aphasia (difficulty with talking or understanding), dysarthria (speech difficulty), voice disorders, and dysphagia.
